At the beginning of July statistical figures from the NWMLS show 350 active residential listings on South Whidbey, more inventory than a year ago. 48 homes sold during the second quarter of 2010 with the average sales price $421,716 compared to 39 homes sold in 2nd quarter of 2009 with average sale price $341,196, and time on the market is up to 211 days from 199 days last year. Central Whidbey has 107 homes listed as active but the average second quarter sales price has decreased from $287,966 in 2009 to $220,963 in 2010 for Central Whidbey residential sales while the average number of days on the market has decreased.
12 land parcels sold on South Whidbey for second quarter of 2010. Average 2nd quarter sales price was $124,000/367 days on market for 2010 compared to 9 sales in the second quarter of 2009 sales price average $130,967 and 205 days on the market. In Coupeville 5 parcels sold, average sales price $86,250/214 days on market, compared to 2 sales in second quarter of 2009 sales average of $109,450/165 days.

LOGANBERRY FESTIVAL will be held at the Greenbank Farm July 24 & 25 10-5pm. Arts & Crafts and food booths, music, fresh berries, wine tasting and the ever popular pie eating contests. Childrens activities.
