Freeland has beautiful views of Holmes Harbor. It has a number of medical offices and it's Main Street is fast becoming the South Island's business center with a number of restaurants, stores, and services. It has a wonderful beach park where the July Fireworks display is usually held. Freeland Hall, just next to the park is the site of many community gatherings, wedding receptions, dances and such.
