Clinton is perched on a hill overlooking the Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains. It's home to the ferry terminal with ferries running to Mukilteo every 30 minutes. There are also nurseries, restaurants, grocery and hardware stores as well as a host of other services available in Clinton. On French Road off Cultus Bay Rd you'll find Island Greens, Clinton's small golf course in a beautiful setting. Pay before you play at the self pay station.
Dan Porter Park is a little Park tucked in next to the Library on Deer Lake Rd, it has tennis courts and a small playground and picnic area. Further down Deer Lake Road, off Lake Shore Road you'll find public access to Deer Lake. There is a water park at the ferry landing as well. Dave Mackie waterfront park located in Clinton toward the end of Maxwelton Rd. Maxwelton Beach is one of best on Whidbey.
